INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
01.Whi l e s ending the appl i c a t ion to the Regi s t r a r (Evaluation) please superscribe on the cover as CONVOCATION.....................................
02.Please enter clearly in BLOCK LETTERS in the place provided, the correct Postal Address to which Degree Certificate and communication, if any, is to be sent.
03.You are required to furnish complete information in the form, and then affix self attested a Passport size colour photograph, TWO photos (without self attested) may be placed in separate envelope and enclosed with the Application.
04.Self attested Photo copies of Marks Cards of all the years shall be invariably enclosed.
05.Post-Graduates, Medallists / Prize winners and Rank holders only can take their Degree Certificate IN P E R SON. Al l o t h e r wi l l b e g i v e n t h e De g r e e Certificate only IN ABSENTIA.
06.The candidate shall sign in all the places where he/ she is required to sign.
07.After payment of the prescribed fee (KSOU -500 Examination Fund Challan) the completed application f o r m s h a l l b e s e n t d i r e c t l y t o t h e R e g i s t r a r (Evaluation), Karnataka State Open University, Manasagan-gotri, Mysore - 570006.
08.Enquires relating to Non receipt of Convocation Application will not receive attention in the University office. If a self - addressed inland letter is enclosed to t h e A p p l i c a t i o n , o r i f s u b m i t t e d i n p e r s o n , acknowledgement will be given.
09.Incomplete Applications are liable to be rejected w i t h o u t a s s i g n i n g a n y r e a s o n . R E F U N D O F AMOUNT IS NOT PERMISSIBLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
10.Candidates who have applied under Inperson Category, if failed to attend the Convocation shall remit an extra P e n a l F e e R s . 1 0 0 - 0 0 f o r s e n d i n g t h e De g r e e Certificate by Registered Post. 11. After the Convocation, the Degree Certificate will be sent to the eligible candidates (under In absentia category), only through Registered Post. If the said Degree Certificate is returned to the University undelivered, Candidates shall remit an extra amount of Rs. 100-00 to obtain the Degree Certificate.
12.If the Degree Certificate is to be sent outside India, an additional fee of Rs. 400-00 towards Postal Expenses is to be remitted along with the prescribed fee.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
01.The Information relating to the particulars of the C o n v o c a t i o n wi l l b e n o t i f i e d i n News P a p e r s , KSOU Web Site (www.ksoumysore.edu.in) and also at Regional and Study Centres of KSOU. 02.If N.C. L is not removed and class is not declared in the marks cards, such candidates are not eligible to receive the Degree Certificate until they clear Lower Examinations (N.C.L).
03.If there is any correction in the Original Marks Cards it may be correct immediately before submitting the application for the Degree Certificate, otherwise, student will be held responsible.
04.S t u d e n t s w h o p a s s e s i n t h e S u p p l e m e n t a r y Examination just before the Convocation are eligible only for Provisional Pass Certificate.
NOTE : i. P a y m e n t m a y b e m a d e t h r o u g h K S O U - 5 0 0 Examination Fund Challan ii. Payment by Cheque, Postal Orders or M.T. will not be accepted. iii. Those residing outside Karnataka shall submit the a p p l i c a t i o n b y p a y i n g t h e a m o u n t t h r o u g h KSOU-500 Examination Fund Challan in any State Bank of India Branch. iv. Those who are appearing for IMPROVEMENT OF EXAMINATION are not supposed to apply for Convocation Certifiate.
