Issue of Internship marks card / Course completion certificate and Diploma certificate – Regarding.
The GNM students those who have passed the third year theoretical papers during
August-2009, are undergoing Internship training and completing during February 2010 and onwards.
The internship examination has to be conducted by the concerned schools as per the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi
There are two theory papers and one practical paper of 100 marks each. Out of 100 marks 50 marks in each theory paper and practical are earmarked for assessment for 6 months and for the remaining 50 marks, the school has to conduct the examination. The student should score 50% of marks in assessment, school exam and also in practical to pass the internship training. Please see that the marks are to be given on the basis of performance and should not be given exhorbitanty. The School examination should be conducted before completing the 6 months period of training and marks scored by each student should be produced to the Board after completion of the training in the prescribed score sheet. A specimen copy of the score sheet is enclosed here with for needful.
Course Completion Certificate and Diploma certificate and Internship Marks Card
If a student has passed in the internship training and also all the Theory papers of 1st, 2nd & 3rd year GNM course, the Principal should submit the particulars of each student in the prescribed proforma for the issue of the course completion certificate and also Diploma Certificate. Please note that these particulars are to be submitted along with the internship examination score sheet it self.
The Board will issue internship marks card on the basis of the score sheet furnished by the Principal. The course completion certificate and Diploma Certificate will also be issued based on the particulars furnished by the principal. There is no need to issue to provisional certificate by the school. The students will enroll for her / his life membership in KSNC on the basis of course completion certificate.
Please remember that the Principal need not submit any documents of the student, namely photo, marks card for issue of course completion certificate and Diploma certificate. However if any correction in the names is to be made an attested copy of the SSLC marks card of a particular student only may be sent and the type of correction to be made has to be mentioned in the remarks column of the statement.
Similarly the practical documents should not be sent along with the score of Internship training unless called for.
The fee charged for Internship marks is Rs.100 and course completion certificate is Rs.100/- and for Diploma Certificate is Rs.300/- per student. Hence the Principal should pay Rs.400/- per student while submitting the internship score sheet and particulars in proforma for course completion Certificate & Diploma certificate.
The fee may be collected at Rs.500/- from each student and submit a common DD in favour of the Medical Superintendent and Deputy Chairman, KSDNEB, payable in Bangalore
I hope the procedure is simplified and Principal could act expeditiously for submitting the particulars and get the Internship mark card, course completion certificate and also Diploma Certificate with out any delay from the Board.
This simplified procedure may be followed for the future batches also unless there is any change made by the Board.
Therefore further Circulars from the Board will not be issued for each examination and the formats now issued will also holds good to furnish the particulars of future examination of the new syllabus i.e. from 05DN onwards.
