E-PROCUREMENT
E-procurement has been started at Central Coalfields Ltd. Two cases of procurement have been taken up for e-procurement, using the portal of Service Provider for e-procurement, M/s ITI Ltd., Bangalore, appointed by Coal India Ltd., and the tenders have been successfully opened on 19.05.2010. The case is under technical scrutiny at GM(E&M)’s end.
CCL is planning to take up all procurements through e-procurement. The required information’s in the matter of e-procurement for the benefit of those vendors who are interested to participate in the tenders are as follows:
Requirements for Vendors
• P.C. connected with internet (Preferred broadband).
• Registration through e-procurement portal www.itietendering.com/CIL
• The vendor should possess a Class III Digital Signature certificate (Mandatory). (Bids will not be recorded without Digital Signature Certificate.)
