GRANT OF SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION IN ARMY DENTAL CORPS
1. Reference your application for grant of Short Service Commission in the Army Dental Corps.
2. You are requested to appear for an interview by the Selection Board to be held in ‘L’ Block, Office of the DGAFMS, Ministry of Defence, Behind North Block, New Delhi on (Refer List underneath) at 0915 hrs for grant of Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps.
3. In case you are placed on select list, you will be required to appear before Medical Board on following day of interview. You will be granted Short Service Commission as per your merit in the select list, availability of vacancy and acceptable medical category for service in Army.
4. You are requested to produce the following certificates (in original) at the time of interview, failing which selection for grant of commission and TA/DA will not be considered:-
(a) Proof of Age (Matriculation/SSLC/High School/Higher Secondary certificate).
(b) Dental Registration Certificate (Valid at least up to Dec 2011).
(c) BDS Mark sheets.
(d) BDS/MDS Degree Certificate.
(e) Internship Completion Certificate. It must have been completed latest by 15 Oct 2011.
(f) No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed or bonded with state institutions.
(g) Proof of recognition of college by Dental Council of India from where you have acquired BDS/MDS degrees. Proof of recognition of college for particular batch (es) if the college has now been de-recognized.
(h) One set of attested photocopies of all the above documents.
(i) Kindly carry 08 Passport size attested photographs.
5. TA/DA for to and fro journey in connection with interview/medical examination is paid after performance of journey when admitted by audit authority. You are advised to have sufficient funds with you for stay in this station as well as for return journey.
6. Travelling allowance for your journey will be admissible by Sleeper/Second Class Mail/Express Train only. However, in case where return tickets at concessional rates are issued by railway authorities, travelling allowance by Sleeper/Second Class Mail/Express train will be admitted at such concessional rates only. Details of journey showing railway/bus ticket/PNR number and the particular class in which the same have been performed will be furnished while submitting the TA/DA claims. You are advised to preserve railway/bus tickets to submit its copy with the claim.
7. No TA/DA will be admissible to you if you had previously appeared before Selection Board for grant of commission in AD Corps. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates from NCT Delhi/NC Region.
8. You will have to make your own arrangement for accommodation, transport etc for the duration of your stay in this station.
9. You are required to submit a non refundable Demand Draft of Rs.200/-(Rupees Two hundred only) of any Nationalised Bank payable at New Delhi in favour of the “Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (AP Fund)”. You should write your name and address at the back of demand draft. Please ensure that the demand draft bears code numberof issuing bank.
