NOTIFICATION
It has come to our notice that a good number of students of different colleges who had appeared in the last 3 rd semester examination held in Dec – 2011, have now applied for appearing in 2 nd semester arrear papers only without applying for 4 th semester examinations. This is against the revised regulations. As per revised regulations, a student who has appeared in semester examinations shall be promoted to the next higher semester irrespective of number of back papers. As such this category of students is now required to apply for appearing in the 4 th semester examinations along with back papers of 2 nd semester.
In view of above, it is notified for information of all concerned that the students who had appeared in the 3 rd semester examinations and have now applied for appearing in back papers of 2nd semester examination should now apply for appearing in the 4 th semester examination along with back papers of 2 nd semester. Such application should reach the university by 15 th June 2012. In case application does not reach the university within above time, such students will be issued admit card giving Roll of 4 th semester.
Henceforth, a student appeared in any semester examinations will be promoted to next higher semester irrespective of number of back papers. There should not be any detention of students in any semester. However, there is a restriction on number of back papers for appearing in 6 th semester examination.
