KARNATAKA STATE DIPLOMA IN NURSING EXAMINATION BOARD

Sub: Cancellation of August 2012 GNM Annual Examination conducted at C.V. Raman Degree College, Bidar.-Reg.
Ref: Letter No.Examinations/CR/09/2012-13 Dt: 10/08/2012 of Deputy Commissioner, Bidar District, Bidar.
The Deputy Commissioner, Bidar District, Bidar has reported that the August 2012 GNM Examination was not conducted properly at C.V.Raman Degree College, Bidar Examination Centre from 07/08/2012 to 11/08/2012. Though Centre has claimed that it has a capacity to conduct examination for 900 students, The Deputy Commissioner in his report has mentioned that only the accommodation was sufficient to 240 students. In that small area more than 600 students were writing the examination. Three students were writing exam sitting in a small bench. The Students were writing examination in corridor. Nursing Staff were deputed to supervise the examination process. Because of this he has recommended to cancel the Examination conducted at this centre and also to conduct re-examination. The matter was discussed with the Honourable Minister for Medical Education and also with the Principal Secretary and it was decided to cancel the Examination. Hence, the Examination conducted at C.V.Raman Degree Bidar, Centre for all the papers of 1 st year, 2 nd year and 3 rd year GNM students of the following Nursing Schools attached to this centre is cancelled with immediate effect.
1. Bajaj School of Nursing, Bidar.
2. Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, Bidar.
3. K.E.T. School of Nursing, Bidar.
4. Mother Theresa School of Nursing, Bidar.
5. Nightingale School of Nursing, Bidar.
6. Noor School of Nursing, Bidar.
7. Prayavi School of Nursing, Bidar.
8. S.M. School of Nursing, Bidar.
9. Sabah School of Nursing, Bidar.
10. Surabhi School of Nursing, Bidar.
11. Usha School of Nursing, Bidar.
12. Vidyamani School of Nursing, Bidar.

September and exact date of examination will be notified.
