Recruitment of Junior Grade of Indian Information Service (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted) Examination, 2012 – Declaration of Final result Regarding
Note :
i. Category and the language(s) for which candidate was found to be eligible/possessing educational qualifications (as per the Notice of the Examination) was taken from the Verified Data sent by Regional Offices.
ii. Candidates who qualified for appearing for Interview for more than one Language were allocated to only one Language, as per their merit-cum-preference of languages (for which they were eligible). However, this was subject to availability of vacancies.
6. As per Notice of the Examination, in cases where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate marks, tie was resolved by applying the following methods one after another:-
(1) Total marks in the written examination.
(2) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(3) Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appear on line.
8. In the Select List, there are 14 candidates whose candidature has been kept as
provisional by the concerned Regional offices. Concerned RDs/DDs will be required to
check the eligibility of such candidates thoroughly before their nomination.
9. The List of recommended candidates is purely provisional and subject to the candidates
fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of the said examination and also
subject to, among other things thorough verification of their identity with reference to this
photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc. on the application forms, admission certificates, etc.
10. For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of
vacancies are reserved as per policy of the Government, the category status is indicated against
their roll numbers. In case of discrepancies between name and roll number of any candidate, it
should be brought to the notice of the regional office concerned immediately.
11. The result and marks of the candidates is also available on the Commission’s website:
http//ssc.nic.in.
12. Any candidate desirous of making representation against the result due to change in
category, language option may represent on or before 23.11.2012 to the undersigned giving full
facts and furnishing documentary evidence. Representations received after this date may not be entertained.
