PET/PST OF GD (CONSTABLES) RECRUITMENT, 2013

Dear Candidate, Welcome to the website of the Karnataka-Kerala Region of Staff Selection Commission. THE  FOLLOWING HELPLINES ARE AVAILABLE FROM 10AM TO 5 PM ON ALL WORKING DAYS (1) 080- 25502520 AND (2) 0-9483862020 PET of the recruitment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman in Assam Rifles  Examination, 2013 will commence on  18 th February, 2013. The centres are at Bangalore, Mysore,  Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram. Details of all the candidates who have applied  for the above examination have been  uploaded on the Commission’s website.  For searching your Name, Roll Number, Ticket Number,  Date of PET/PST, Venue of PET/PST, etc., you may kindly go through the instructions given below. BEFORE GOING THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BELOW, PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THE  TIME OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION ALL THOSE CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFY IN THE PET SHOULD  INVARIABLY PRODUCE DOMICILE CERTIFICATES FROM THE CONCERNED STATE AUTHORITIES AND  OBC CANDIDATES IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT.     BOTH THE DOMICILE AND OBC CERTIFICATES  SHOULD BE SIGNED BY AN OFFICER NOT LESS THAN THE RANK OF TAHSILDAR OF THE CONCERNED  AREA.  CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT PRODUCE THE DOMICILE CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED  TO ATTEND THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND THOSE OBC CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT PRODUCE  THE CERTIFICATE IN  CENTRAL GOVERNMENT  FORMAT WILL NOT BE GIVEN THE BENEFIT OF  RESERVATION AND AGE RELAXATION. SPECIMEN OF THE OBC CERTIFICATE IS AVAILABLE IN ANNEXURE VII OF THE NOTICE OF THE  EXAMINATION AND ALSO CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE COMMISSION’S WEBSITE:  http://ssckkr.kar.nic.in.

INSTRUCTIONS (i) The list is provided in Alphabetical Order. Candidates should, therefore, first find their  names in the “Name of the Candidate” column and then confirm it by checking Father’s  Name & Date of Birth. (ii) Candidates should report to the designated PET Board at the particular Venue at 07.00  AM on the given date. (iii) PST/PET Call Letters are being sent in batches.  Candidates should, therefore, wait for  the Call Letters to be received by post and need not contact the Regional Office of the  Commission or the Forces in this regard.  (iv) In case any candidates fail to receive his/her Call Letter  at least one week before the  actual day of PST/PET, he/she may download a duplicate Call Letter from the website of  the Commission http://ssckkr.kar.nic.in.  (v) Downloading facility will be available only after 14 th February, 2013.
(vi) Please note that downloading facility of Call Letters may be provided only in batches and  therefore, candidates should attempt downloading only a week before the actual date  of PST/PET. (vii) Every effort has been made to call the candidates for PST/PET to the venues nearest to  their place of residence to the extent possible.  Even in cases where candidates have  been allotted Centres far from their place of residence due to administrative reasons,  they should report only at the designated Centre. (viii) PST/PET is the sole responsibility of the CAPF and the Staff Selection Commission has no  responsibility whatsoever.   Candidates should, therefore, address their  complaint/representation/grievance to the PST/PET authorities only. (ix) The Candidates should present themselves for PST/PET along with the Call Letter and  Photo-bearing ID Proof. (x) Candidates should go through the important instructions given in the Call Letter
