Sub:- Payment of Annual Examination Fees for M.A./M.Com (Previous and Final) May/June – 2014. * * * * *
The students who have enrolled in KSOU for M.A/M.Com (Previous and Final) SIM SCHEME are eligible to take the Annual Examinations to be held during May/June 2014. Note: As per the university examination, regulations M.A/M.Com Students who are within the time limit of four years from the date of their year of enrollment are eligible to appear for the ensuing examinations. Students who have completed more than four (4) years from their enrollment are not eligible to appear for the examination. Inspite of this instruction, if the time barred students pay the examination fee, they will be doing so at their own risk & the amount paid will not be refunded. .

The students who have enrolled themselves during the year 2010-2011 and have passed M.A/M.Com
examinations, have an opportunity to take improvement examination during 2014 exam which is the last chance.
Therefore, students are informed to pay the examination fee & penal fee (if examination fee is paid after the due
date) as mentioned above along with improvement examination fee of Rs.1000 with the prior written approval of
the Registrar (Evaluation).
Examinations are proposed to be conducted at the following centres
Arasikere Bagalkote Bangalore Belgaum Bellary Bidar Bijapur
Chamarajanagar Chickmagalur Chitradurga Davanagere Dharwad Gadag Gulbarga
Hassan Hubli Kanakapura Karwar Kolar Kundapura Madikeri
Mandya Mangalore Mysore Putturu Raichur Ramanagar Shimoga
Sirsi Tumkur Udupi
Students can select any one of the above Examination Centres (Freshers). Once they choose the
Examination Centre, the candidate has to take examination in that particular centre alone during his/her next
attempts. Change of Examination Centre is not allowed. Under special circumstances, permission will be granted
with prior request on payment of fee Rs. 1000/- in addition to Examination fee within 15 days prior to the
commencement of examinations.
Students shall remit the fees in the nearby State Bank of Mysore or State Bank of India through the
challan enclosed in the examination application. Please mention the Year of Admission, Roll Number and Name of
the Examination Centre on the top of the Examination Application. Enclose the photocopy of Admission fee paid
challan along with Examination Application. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. DO NOT tear the
original fee paid challan from the exam application.
Students shall submit their filled-in Examination applications to The Registrar (Evaluation),
Karnataka State Open University, Mukthagangotri, Mysore – 570 006, either in person or by
Registered Post / Courier.
Examination Applications received after 22-04-2014 will be rejected
