1. Names of Post Basic Diplomas in Nursing courses 
 
i) CARDIO THORACIC NURSING 
ii) ONCOLOGY NURSING 
iii) CRITICAL CARE NURSING 
iv) EMERGENCY AND DISASTER NURSING 
v) NEONATAL NURSING 
vi) OPERATION ROOM NURSING 
vii) NURSE PRACTIONER IN MIDWIFERY 
viii) NEURO SCIENCE NURSING 
ix) PSYCHIATRIC / MENTAL HEALTH NURSING 
x) ORTHOPAEDIC & REHABITATION NURSING 
xi) GERONTOLOGICAL NURSING 

2. Terms and Conditions for the admission to the course 
The Students seeking admission to these courses shall:- 
 
1) Be a registered nurse (RN & RM) or equivalent 
2) Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalent certificate from INC before admission 
3) Be physically fit. 
 
3. Duration of the Course One academic year i.e., from 01-04-2014 to 
31-03-2015, 
 
4. March 2014 All admission procedures should be completed 
and candidates admitted during March 2014 
 
5. April 2014 i) classes commence from 01-04-2014 for 
 the academic year 2014-2015. 
 
6. May 2014 i) Last date to submit the list of candidates 
 admitted 31-05-2014 
 ii) Collection of students Affiliation Fees. 
 iii) Approval of admission list 
 
7. June 2014 Collection of Registration fee / Renewal fees 
 from the concerned Institutions. 
 
8. February 2015 Calling Faculty lists from the concerned 
 institutions. 
 
9. March 2015 i) Calling of applications for 2014-2015 annual 
 Examination 
ii) Issue of Exam time Table 
iii) Receiving the Internal assessment marks of 
 the students. 
iv) Scrutiny of applications & issue of Hall Tickets 
v) Conducting of Theory & Practical Examination. 
 
10. April 2015 i) Announcement of results. 
 
Circulars will be issued for any changes in the calendar of events and other academic matters with 
the permission of the Chairman, KSDNEB, Bengaluru.
