Admission Counselling has been arranged for two days on 29-04-2014 and 30-04-2014 You are
hereby informed to appear for a Pre-Admission Counselling in the Department of Education, Karnataka
State Open University Campus, Mukthagangotri, Mysore.
Kindly report at 10.30 a.m. on 29-04-2014 at KSOU, Mysore without fail.
Kindly bring your original certificates for verification and based on your original records you will
be given provisional admission on payment of the prescribed fees. Those who do not produce original
documents at the time of verification are not eligible for admission. Only those students whose
documents are found valid, are permitted to pay the fees. If you fail to pay the fees on the same
day, you will be losing your seat.

If you fail to attend the Counselling on 29-04-2014 in the Department of Education, KSOU,
Mysore and remit the fees, you will be forfeited from getting admission for B.Ed Degree Programme in
KSOU. No Second Chance will be given to such candidates. Such vacancies will be filled up by
allotting the seats to the next candidates in the merit list as per rules. Therefore you are hereby
informed to attend the Counselling without fail.
The fee details are as follows:
Tuition Fee Rs. 15,400/-
Activity Fee Rs. 3,000/-
Registration Fee Rs. 600/-
Eligibility fee (The candidates who have
passed BA / B.Sc or MA / M.Sc. Degree
Examinations from Universities outside
Karnataka State)
Rs. 2,000/-
You are expected to bring with you the following documents for the Counselling.
1. Degree Marks Cards in original with attested Xerox Copies,
2. Latest Service Certificate (Certificates) in original with attested Xerox Copies,
3. TC or Migration Certificate in original if you have already obtained,
4. ‘3’ Stamp size Photographs,
5. SSLC Marks Card in original with one attested Xerox copy,
6. Caste / Category and Income Certificates in original with attested Xerox copies,
SPECIAL NOTE: Candidates claiming reservation under SC / ST / C-1 / 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B /
PH / DEF / EX Service/ Kannada Medium and Hydrabad-Karnataka must produce valid certificates.
Those who fail to produce relevant documents at the time of Pre-Admission Counselling will not be given
admission by the University.
Note: On the first day of Counselling Programme original documents will be verified and study centre
will be alloted through counselling. On the second day, students are required to pay tution fee and after
submission of fee paid challen study materials will be distributed to them.
