INDIAN SOCIETY FOR HUMAN ECOLOGY
Indian Society for Human Ecology (ISHE) is an international, non-profit organization incorporated in 1989. It aims at disseminating knowledge and spreading ecological awareness, organizing lectures, seminars and conference undertake and promote research activities that can help in promoting manenvironment relationship, providing consultancy to the developmental agencies and NGOs, publishing research and popular articles. Society is associated in publishing the Journal of Human Ecology from 1990. It has gained international reputation and recognition. From time to time special volumes edited by renowned scientists have also been published.
