The XVII Convocation of the University will be held on 1st October, 2015 (Thursday).All the candidates, whose final results pertaining to various Degrees/Diplomas have been declared by the Office of the Controller of Examinations during the period from 01-09-2014 to 31-08-2015, may apply in the prescribed form available on the website: http://acad.uohyd.ac.in or www.uohyd.ac.in to obtain their degrees/diplomas either 'in person' (at the Convocation) or 'in absentia' (after the Convocation) and Diplomas (only in absentia). The Fee payable to obtain the degree/diploma is as follows:
1. In person (at the Convocation) Rs. 500/-
2. In Absentia
i) for receiving degree in India Rs. 700/-
ii) for receiving degree abroad US$ 50 or equivalent Indian currency
3. For Foreign Nationals US$ 75 or equivalent Indian currency
Application fee should be in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at State Bank of India, HUC Branch (Code:5916) or at Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (Hyderabad)
(Code: 378).
The application form should be accompanied by the following :
(i) Two recent stamp size color photographs,
(ii) Copy of the Provisional Certificate of the degree issued by the University,
(iii) Copy of the Matriculation/SSC/CBSE/HSC Certificate and
(iv) Demand Draft (as applicable)
The fully filled in application along with all the required documents and Demand Draft must reach the Joint Registrar (Academic & Examinations) at the above address on or before 7th September, 2015. Applications received after the last date
and/or incomplete applications shall not be considered. Degrees and Diplomas awarded In absentia shall be sent after the Convocation.
Invitations to attend the Convocation can be downloaded from the above
mentioned websites from 25
th September, 2015 onwards. Parent passes to a
limited extent are available only for the recipients of Ph.D. Degrees and Medals for
which a separate application in the prescribed form is required to be submitted.
