JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/QUANTITY SURVEYING AND CONTRACT) EXAMINATION, 2015
F. No. 3/4/2015-P&P-II (Pt): Candidates may refer to the notice of Junior Engineer
(Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination, 2015, published in the
Employment News dated 11.07.2015
2. In terms of decision taken by Government of India to discontinue interviews at junior level
posts and in terms of clarification received from Department of Personnel and Training vide their
letter no. F. No. 39020/01/2013-Estt (B) dated 05.10.2015; the Commission has decided to dispense
with the interview.
3. Accordingly, the following amendment is made to Para 9 regarding scheme of examination:
FOR
The examination will be conducted in two stages.
A Written test (500 marks)
B Interview (100 marks)
READ
The examination will consist of written test only (Paper-I and Paper-II). There will be no interview
and final selection will be made on the basis of merit in written examination only.
