Instructions to candidates who have applied for online CAT
Exam:
Based on the information provided by the candidate in the application & subject to verification of original documents, candidates will be allowed to write online CAT exam.
Must produce online application and application fee paid challan before the invigilator for verification and affix to the call letter latest photograph taken within 2 months and sign across the photograph.
Download call letter in duplicate & hand over the invigilator copy to the Invigilator of the examination centre.
Candidate should be present at the examination centre one hour prior to the commencement of the examination.
Candidate should produce any one of the following reliable Identity Proof issued by Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India at the Examination Centre
for identification. a. Voter ID
b. Aadhar Card
c. Passport
d. Driving Licence
e. Income Tax Identity (PAN) card,
f. Passbook with Photograph issued by Public Sector Banks/Post Office
and Kisan Passbook or any other identity with photo & address issued by a Govt. of India/Govt. of Karnataka.
Candidate should compulsorily read all the instructions prior to the commencement of the online CAT examination.
Apart from the above mentioned documents, candidates are not permitted
to carry mobile phone, scientific calculator, watches, pens or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination Hall.
Surveillance will be setup at Examination Centres. Criminal case will be booked & legal action will be taken against the candidates indulging in any tampering of the Systems or impersonation in CAT examination.
The duration of online CAT exam will be 2 hours for 100 marks & 100 questions. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall till 15 minutes after commencement of examination/notified time & should not leave the Exam hall till half an hour of commencement of examination. There is no
grace time for late comers.
There will be 4 options for each question out of which only one option should
be marked. Each question carries one mark for right answer &
negative mark for each wrong answer.
No breaks are allowed in between of examination.
